White iPhone 4 Release Date delayed untill later this year

I know there are some of you that are holding off buying an iPhone 4 until the white version comes out. Unfortunately, although it was originally scheduled to come out by the end of this summer, the white iPhone 4 release date has been delayed until later this year.

The official Apple statement claims that the white iPhone 4 is “more challenging to manufacture” than they expected and that we should expect the phone a little later during this year, although no exact date was mentioned. Now I’m just guessing here, but maybe there is no point in releasing the white model until the iPhone 4 death grip issue is solved. I mean… what’s the point of getting a white iPhone if you’re going to have to put it in a case? On the upside, Apple announced that there will be no shortage of black iPhone 4’s.
