Consumer Reports Still Refusing To Endorse iPhone 4

Consumer Reports has once again criticised Apple for its attitude towards issues found in the iPhone 4, saying that still won’t endorse the device.

The American magazine, published by Consumers Union every month, has issued a non-recommendation in the wake of Apple’s decision to stop offering free bumpers to iPhone 4 owners, tech news site PC World reports.

The magazine continues to maintain that the ‘antennagate’ issue still affects a number of iPhone 4 owners.

“[Putting] the onus on any owners of a product to obtain a remedy to a design flaw is not acceptable to us. We therefore continue not to recommend the iPhone 4,” Consumer Reports wrote.

The group, in a blog post, stated that the iPhone 4 will not receive recommendation until the company comes up with a permanent fix for the flaw.

Despite this, the iPhone 4 continues to be rated highest among all the smartphones it has tested.
