iPhone developer Eyedip has sent word Flight Doodle is free today only, to celebrate being FreeAppADay Gold App.

Flight Doodle is billed as a high-flying, action-packed thrill ride, featuring customisable aircrafts, lush, colourful atmospheric settings and visually brilliant doodled art style.

The game now comes with a ‘All Out’ gameplay mode, 2nd gen device support and new features.

“We love all the feedback we’ve received from our fans! The ‘All Out’ Mode is great fun, and we’ve adjusted the controls, initial difficulty, and improved the global leaderboard support,” said Steven Fleisher, co-founder of Eyedip.

“We think this update has wildly improved on the original and we’re excited to entice everyone to try it out free,” added Jeremy Adelman, co-founder of Eyedip. “We’re also planning to add even more mini-games and features in the next few weeks.”

Available from the Apple iTunes App Store, Flight Doodle for iPhone costs 59p, but is free today, Friday, 17 September, and requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update or later.

Flight Doodle HD for the iPad is also available and costs £1.79.
