iPhone 4 Release In China Attracts Thousands

News has been reported today of thousands of people lining the pavements in China to witness the opening of Beijing’s “Xidan Joy City Store” and the launch of the Apple iPhone. No surprise there, as the iPhone, despite its fair share of negativity, has been one of the hottest selling devices of this year so far.

Josh at AppleInsider said, that some Apple fans like “Yu Zhong Hui” were that dedicated to being at the start of the queue, they had camped outside since early hours Thursday morning. Yu said, “When you want something, you have to pay a price. The price I paid is that everyone has had to see me wait out here”. Only last week, a report from “The Wall Street Journal”, said that 50,000 users pre-ordered the iPhone on the first day that it was available.

For now, we will watch the phenomenon of what has become one of the fastest selling devices of 2010.
