Apple iPhone sales can touch a new high with a coalition with Verizon Wireless in US, at least that is the implication of the way Apple shares registered a high with Veriozn iPhone reports. Since its launch in the year 2007, iPhone’s only carrier has been AT&T Inc. with GSM network. But rumors are rife that Apple and Verizon are working on finalizing a deal to bring iPhone on Verizon network.

Apple and Verizon will have to set their differences aside to run the iPhone Verizon’s CDMA network. Apple shares rose an all time high of $237.15 after the reports of possible coalition on Wednesday. In the US, it will be a major breakthrough for Apple to have multiple subscribers at the same time. How soon will that happen, that is the question.

Verizon communications Inc which owns Verizon Wireless rose to 2.6 percent while stakes of AT&T declined to 2.1 percent. But AT&T pays $450 to Apple for one iPhone while other carriers pay around $300.

Verizon and AT&T will be rivals in the following years whenever Apple iPhone will be sharing the carriers. It has to be seen which company will outperform other and how soon iPhone coming to Verizon becomes a reality.
