It’s been 9 years since the 9/11 disaster with the World Trade Center and now iPhone users can download a free app which lets them look at 9/11 photos and socialize with the World Trade Center website.
The pictures are taken from people who witnessed the September 11 disaster and also from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum database. Explore 9/11 helps the iPhone users understand what happened there on 9/11 and it tries to make them more patriotic, because nobody wants the history to repeat ever.
The new version of Explore 9/11 also features a timeline of events, along with geocoding and augmented reality. The new version of Explore 9/11 has been released on September 10, 2010, so if you haven’t updated since yesterday, now it’s the time to do it.
Until now, the iPhone users have downloaded the Explore 9/11 app over 100,000 times and thousands of users continue to download it.
This can only prove what a big impact the September 11 event has had on people.
If you don’t own an iPhone or you don’t want to download the app, then click here to watch some 9/11 photos.
