When you want to learn more about something, the thing you do these days is that you “Google it” (or Bing it, or whichever-is-your-search-engine-of-choice it). But what do you do if you don’t know what to search for in words?
Perhaps you see a very cool landmark or a type of flower that you’ve never seen before, or you don’t know the name of. In such a case, search terms would be mostly unknown to you.
That’s where Google Goggles comes in. It’s been a feature of Android phones, but just because it’s a Google service isn’t going to stop the search giant from sharing the love with those on iPhones.
Google has updated its Google Mobile app for iPhone to now include Google Goggles functionality. It’s still very much a beta product, but it could prove very useful for times when you’re lost for words.
