Verizon iPhone Trade-In Program Sucks, Use eBay Instead

Verizon iPhone Trade-In

The Verizon iPhone trade-in program sucks. If you plan on selling your iPhone 4 hardware, you will get a much better deal selling it on eBay instead. Verizon wants to get AT&T iPhone users on their Verizon network, but their plan won’t work because they are simply offering way too low prices for trading in.

The iPhone 4 costs $199 with a 2-year contract or $599 without a contract. If you use the Verizon iPhone trade-in program you will get a measly $212 for trading in your iPhone 4. This is too low! On eBay you can sell a jailbroken/unlocked iPhone for more than $700!

Lesson of this is that you should never participate in the Verizon iPhone trade-in program because you can get a much better deal for your iPhone on eBay. Also remember to jailbreak/unlock your iPhone when you sell it because that increases it’s value.
