Wow, iPhone 4 (or Verizon) fans can’t get enough of the “dream phone.” Now I’m updating the rumors, and not the actual iPhone 4 news.
Verizon iPhone 4 photo leaked?Tech blogs are buzzing about a photo of an alleged Verizon iPhone 4, posted on the vast space of the internet world last Friday.
According to TiP, the source of the photo, someone sent them a snapshot of what looks like the Verizon iPhone. But the interesting part of the image is located on the upper left part, showing the alleged Verizon iPhone 4 sporting a Verizon signal with LTE.
LTE, meaning, the iPhone is supported by the wireless carrier’s 4G network.
Even without further investigation, I found the best answer to this “mystery.” On the comments area of the site, a guy named Bob recharged my memory.
He said:
By jailbreaking an iPhone, you can put whatever you want in the carrier field. You can see they’ve also replaced the time in the top info bar.
And it’s the exact same phone. The sides are the same steel, but they appear in shadow because the sole light source is coming down from above (the camera), putting the sides in shadow.
True, there’s an app that can change the wireless carrier display of your iPhone named “Make It Mine,” first version was released in 2008.
