New evidence suggests white iPhone 4 release in Spring 2011

As rare as a northern white Rhino, Apple’s white iPhone 4 has never truly seen the light of day, having suffered a vast amount of delays no doubt caused by its darker brothers antenna issues.

However, it seems that Apple has finally let slip of its official release window, with the company starting to affix new signs in its shops noting its pricing and upcoming availability. So when can you expect to get you hands on this rare piece of merchandise? Well it looks likely to be in spring 2011.

Apparently color discrepancies between the handset body and the home button were the main causes behind the delay, though we still believe it is the above antenna issue that is the main reason. Mind you, with rumors of the iPhone 5’s release date expected to be in 2011, it could be another clever piece of marketing by Apple to get rid of iPhone 4 stock before the iPhone 5 hits the shelves.

Still, if you have been holding out on the white iPhone 4 you can at least look forward to getting your hands on the device when it lands next year. The question is would you hold out for one or would you rather wait for the iPhone 5?
