Once you go Apple you never go back, or at least that is what new research results implies. According to the results of a survey conducted by GfK, a German market research firm, iPhone owners are much more loyal to their brand than those who own Androids.
In fact, almost 60% of iPhone users intend to stick to their iPhones and possible upgrades for the coming years, whereas just about half, of 28% of Android owners want to renew a contract with the same mobile.
In second place after iPhone users in the survey were BlackBerry users with 35% claiming that they would not think twice about buying another Blackberry cell phone, implying that the dying brand at least has its loyal customers to thank for its persistence in the market.
Falling into last place were users of the Microsoft Windows prototype platforms, but it should be noted that most of the users that took part in the research survey had not yet tried the Windows 7 version, but instead were using widely known flawed versions.
