Android 2.3 Gingerbread Ported to iPhone 3G

Here you come guys! There’s no official Gingerbread OTA for Nexus One but we have this thing running on iPhone 3G! OpeniBoot made it possible to run Froyo on iPhone and now it has made it possible for Gingerbread as well.

An unnamed hacker has made this thing possible and has posted a video demo as well. Apparently Android 2.3 Gingerbread is working pretty good on iPhone 3G but there’s a little lag in performance.

We don’t know if making calls is yet possible or not, but living on hope is great. Isn’t it?

We are trying to trace the hacker so that we can stalk him to his backyard and bring you his world take-over plan possibly including a how-to guide. Don’t forget to check back!
