If there’s anyone making movies today who’s not afraid to show audiences some bonkers shit, it’s Park Chan-Wook. The Korean director made his mark on the cinema world with Old Boy earning significantly more attention than its predecessor Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. He’s a wildly visual and fearless director who hasn’t shied away from the macabre with his next short, Paranmajang, or Night Fishing.
Park took a different route with the production of this piece, electing to film the entirety of the short with the iPhone 4 and proving that even you can make sweet movies if you’ve got the trendiest piece of technology known to man. Of course, the footage has been post-productioned to hell so it doesn’t look anything like what you get out of your phones, but you get the idea.
Scope out the crazy-ass trailer below.
