USA TODAY releases updated version of iPad app

The updated release of USA TODAY’s iPad app is live in Apple’s App Store today.

Responding to user requests, we’ve added Tech and Travel sections. Here in Technology Live, of course, we think the new Tech features are pretty cool.

Check out the App Insider reviews for our take on the latest apps that might be worth your time and money. The new video player, with our Talking Tech videos and more, allows for in-app sharing via email or your preferred social network. The resolution on the pop-up video player looks great!

In the Travel section, check out Airport Delays, our look at nationwide airport delays by map or by list. We’ve also included access to our award-winning Travel blogs and a high-resolution Week in Travel photo gallery.

This release also adds multitasking support for iOS 4.2, plus stability improvements and bug fixes. Enjoy!
