Verizon iPhone 4 / 5 YouTube Video Removed

It was only late last night, here at OSM that we brought you news about subsequent photos and a video surrounding the highly anticipated Verizon 4/5. The photo clips sourced from AppleInsider via SmartMedic showed 2 handsets alongside each other, one being the current iPhone 4, the second the possible Verizon iPhone or next generation 5.

News has come through today that the YouTube video showing off this has been plugged from the internet with a message saying “due to a copyright claim by Apple Inc.”

According to Engadget it is not clear whether it was definitely Apple responsible for the video’s removal or someone else. The pictures are still visible for us, and on looking them at first glance you would think they are identical, but on a closer inspection there are differences.

Although the video is not present, differences explained were leading to one thinking that the performance would be greater for perhaps video chat, mute button positioned in a different place and also noted there was no hole to fit the camera into.

Until we get further official news from the Consumer Electronic’s Show, we can only pass everything off as speculation.

What do you think about the removal of the video? If indeed it was Apple, is this their way of keeping all details under wraps? Let us know.
