Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it only makes sense both mobile carriers and manufacturers show their loving with some generous deals. Remember how vocal T-Mobile was about its ‘free smartphone offerings’ for the upcoming special day? We aren’t sure if AT&T’s recent announcement is intended along the same lines, but unlimited calling to any mobile number only calls for attention.
AT&T Wireless customers as part of a new feature are provided with unlimited calling to any mobile number. Irrespective of the wireless network the call will be made to, users can now dial up those numbers anywhere in America. The attribute is delivered to AT&T users having an unlimited messaging plan and qualifying voice plan.
“Mobile to Any Mobile is an exciting offer that will keep our customers connected to the people they want to talk to, when they want to talk to them, without the hassle of watching minutes,” quipped David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “We’re giving customers more options and even better value. And when you include Rollover Minutes, a benefit available exclusively from AT&T that lets customers keep their unused minutes for all domestic calls, including to landline numbers, it’s clear that AT&T offers the most flexibility in the industry.”
Starting today, the Mobile to Any Mobile service can be availed of by both new and existing consumers. Those already having an unlimited messaging plan can initiate Mobile to Any Mobile through the AT&T Anymobile webpage.
On an individual plan, users will have to pay $20 per month for unlimited messaging while a FamilyTalk plan enabled for up to five lines costs $30 per month.
