Photojojo has released a telephoto lens for the iPhone, allowing owners to zoom in like never before.

The company said each kit comes with a sleek, matte black iPhone case. After attaching the lens, users can start shooting with 8x telephoto zoom by simply twisting the manual focus ring. Some vignetting occurs, but that can be cropped out.
Photojojo said the $35 kit also includes a tabletop tripod, clamp, in case users don’t want to hold it in place, and a cleaning cloth. The lens is made to fit the iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G devices.
“We laughed the first time we saw it too, and simply put, our sheepishness turned to sheer addiction,” the company said on its website. “We started taking our iPhone Telephoto Lens with us everywhere.”
While the telephoto lens may be the first zoom lens made for the iPhone, it hasn’t stopped other manufacturers from developing other innovative accessories for Apple’s products. Last month, Germany’s FotoFinder built its “Handyscope” imagery system that uses an add-on lens to magnifies images by more than 20 times, which it uses to diagnose skin disease.
