Uh oh, trouble ahead for Blackberry whose unique selling point could be made available via direct rivals.

BGR have revealed that “multiple trusted sources” have told them that the BlackBerry Messenger app is being developed by Research In Motion for Android and eventually iOS phones as well.
In a move to combat the WhatsApp, Nimbuzz, Kik and PingChat! growth in the mobile messenger market, it’s being reported that the BlackBerry Messenger App may be free to users of third-party handsets.
Do Androids dream of market dominance?
