Consumers eagerly wait for the iPhone 5 to hit the market sometime in July. It is customary for Apple to introduce new iPhones in that season.
The public is excited about the Verizon iPhone 5 with its array of features and large capacity. Apple places technology advances ahead of price concerns. However, it has to produce a cost effective product that will appeal to the masses over the geeks.
Expectations are for Apple to offer consumers the iPhone 5 in a 64 GB model. Verizon and AT&T users who own the iPhone 4 are trying to visualize how thin the new model will be. Each successive model is thinner than the previous one.
There are rumors that Apple’siPhone 5 may be offered in real colors. This should appeal to a large body of potential buyers. They may or may not offer it in white. Now that the iPhone is no longer just for AT&T customers, rumors about affordability are spreading. With competitors providing the smartphone to customers at a nominal cost, Apple will most likely keep the price of the iPhone 5 low enough to be considered within the average person’s price range.
The limited availability of Verizon’s 4G LTE network and the scarcity of AT&T’s,will influence Apple’s decision on offering 4G in the new iPhone 5. Consumers have to wait, as rumor has it, until the anticipated July 2011 release date.
