Tiger Woods Girlfriend: The Latest on Tiger’s New Girl, Rachel Uchitel and More

Tiger Woods has been in the news a lot lately, but what else is new? Oddly enough, the majority of the news still does not involve his golfing game, although that is all about to change.

No, it is not because he is going to end his PGA tournament winning drought. He tees off at Bay Hill this afternoon, but rest assured he will not win the tournament. The fact that he is all over the headlines has nothing to do with winning on the course.

News broke recently of a new alleged relationship between Woods and Alyse Lahti Johnston, although her stepfather still says they are just friends.

What do they always say? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire? Exactly.

But the newest news has nothing to do with Woods’ new girlfriend, his ex-wife or any of his new mansions. It is much better than that.

Tiger Woods is teaching people how to swing.

Oh, wait.

No! Get your minds out of the gutter! He is not teaching them that type of swinging. After all, why would he share all of his secrets?

Woods has a new iPhone app called Tiger Woods: My Swing available for $9.99 that allows a person to record their swing and then Woods will compare it to one of his swings using virtual feedback.

Um, can I get the app where Woods actually used to win? Can I get that Tiger to compare my swings to his back then? I can already do what he does now.

Really. I’m great at swearing and sitting and throwing my clubs around. I have been for a long time.

Darren Rovell of CNBC asked Woods about the relatively high price of his app, but Woods said that “all of the proceeds are going directly to my charity to impact kids, to get them through college and allow them to have a career. I wouldn’t have done this deal for Shotzoom if it wasn’t for the connection to my foundation.”

When asked how he would analyze his swing right now, Woods responded that he “is progressing.”

Yeah, thats what I want to spend money on right now. Hey, I’m progressing as well. Maybe I’ll start an app that costs half as much.

All joking aside, and I admit I do love to poke fun at Tiger, I really think it is a good thing about the proceeds going toward his charity. For those unsure of what it is about, Woods told Rovell that they “take kids who have a difficult time in school, starting in the fifth grade, and we help them make something of themselves by helping them become the first in their family to go to college.”

But it realls is good to know that Woods still spends a lot of time on his phone. This truly is a step in the right direction.
