The HTC Thunderbolt is currently the hottest selling Verizon smartphone alongside the iPhone 4. Being the only 4G LTE capable Android on Big Red at the moment, there’s no faster phone on Verizon. Period.
So if you’re looking to get your hands on one, Amazon.com is your best bet. The online retailer is selling the HTC Thunderbolt for $174.99 with free two-day shipping. Furthermore, most buyers will not be required to pay tax up front, making the price tag more attractive than ever.
The HTC Thunderbolt normally retails for $249.99 with a two-year contract (or$599.99 unlocked) direct from Verizon stores. Now the price tag is not publicize on their website as it apparently falls below the minimum advertised price (MAP), hence you will need to add it to your cart before seeing this price.
On a side note, if you’re after a LTE capable smartphone on Verizon Wireless but don’t fancy HTC, the Samsung Droid Charge is speculated to hit Sears on April 14th. Then there is also the dual-core Motorola Droid Bionic that may hit stores in May.
Have a good weekend folks.
