Apple’s release of iOS 4.3.1 hasn’t been exactly smooth, with some annoying problems associated with the mobile operating system software for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

But help is coming, according to the Boy Genius Report, which says Thursday “We’ve just been told by one of our Apple ninjas that the company is working on another iOS 4.3.x release: iOS 4.3.2. It’s said to include a few enhancements, address security issues, and it will also fix several bugs that have affected users. We’re told to expect the software update for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad in about two weeks.”
Cult of Mac notes that among the problems of iOS 4.3.1 are Wi-Fi issues for users of certain routers, “and a problem with the taking photographs on the iPad 2.”
Apple released the iOS 4.3.1 software update about 10 days ago as “a cure for various iOS bugs and the graphical glitches which have been plaguing iPod Touch users for a while,” wrote msnbc.com’s Rosa Golijan.
“Apparently there were some peculiar graphical weirdiosities which occasionally drove owners of fourth generation iPod Touch devices insane. No more of that though, because this update will supposedly put an end to the flickering and pixilating.”
“Other things included in the iOS update are fixes for the issues some devices were experiencing when activating and connecting to cellular networks, a resolution for authentication issues experienced by some enterprise Web services, and some bug fixes for owners of Apple’s Digital AV Adapters.”
There’s a certain symmetry to software labeled “4.3.2″ — here’s hoping it will be the “1.”
