We’ve covered some over-the-top luxury versions of tech products lately. There was a gold-plated Kindle, a $1.2 million iPad, and a Versace-branded cell phone. Talk about must-haves!

Gresso, a Swiss manufacturer of luxury communications devices, gets in on the crazy good times with the Lady Blanche iPhone 4. Gresso doesn’t go for the easy target of simply encrusting it with diamonds or plating it with expensive metals.
No, the Lady Blanche features clocks and Swarovski crystals. I know, that sounds weird. You already have a clock built into your iPhone 4; why would you need three more attached to the outside? Because you have $7,000 kicking around and you need something to blow it on.
Major phone carriers are reportedly beta testing the next generation of iPhone in preparation for a September launch.
The ChipHazard website reported that AT&T got a test version of the iPhone 5 on July 6. VerizonbizWatch , T-MobilebizWatch and SprintbizWatch are also rumored to be testing the smartphones.
The reports say that after testing is completed by the carriers, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) will turn the iPhone 5 over to its manufacturers to start production.
Reports about the next iPhone have been rampant since Apple passed up announcing it at the World Wide Developers Conference earlier this summer, when it had announced previous generations of the device. Instead that conference was all about software.
Piper JaffraybizWatch analyst Chris Larsen said this week that he believes the next generation on the device will be compatible with all wireless providers.
