iPhone not working? Call 911

Now everyone and their dog knows that the number 911 is not meant to play prank calls with, and unless you’re in a real tight fix, you do not dial that number as you can never can tell just when someone else who is in a far more dire straits than you need urgent help – pronto!

Apart from being unable to fix a leaking faucet or not being able to open up that bottle of soda, here is another situation where you need not the assistance of 911 – when your iPhone is no longer working.

Michael Skopec of Illinois did not have that train of thought, however, and decided that calling 911 is his best bet instead of making his way to the nearest Apple retail store and getting the help of those lined up at the Genius Bar.

Mr. Scopec is one persistent dialer, having called 911 five times before he was arrested by the police for obscruction of justice. I guess being drunk had something to do with it, where he will be facing misdemeanor charges in court next week.
