An analyst is predicting that after the iPhone 5 release date occurs for Apple this fall, it will help both Mac computer sales, and the company’s bottom line. The latest speculation comes from JP Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz.

According to a report from the PC World GoodGearGuide.com site, the release of the new tech item should lead to Apple dominating the smartphone market next year. Moskowitz also believes that the new phone will have 4G LTE connectivity incorporated into it, just like the iPad 2 has. Moskowitz commented about the new smartphone’s predicted success, saying:
“We think that a combination of revolutionary hardware enhancements and software-driven services (i.e. Passbook, Maps, FaceTime over mobile) stand to reaffirm the iPhone as the leading smartphone.”
While this is probably no surprise to most Apple fans, and repeat consumers of the product, what may be surprising is the belief that it will also help the line of Mac computers to also gain more sales. Moskowitz added:
“We think that the company’s incremental market penetration opportunities can help the Mac become a major contributor to overall company growth in the coming years.”
One speculated release date for the iPhone 5 is sometime in August, or as late as October of this year. Some claim August will be likely to meet demand for back to school orders. That’s just a rumor though, and at this point the company has not increased it’s orders for components to suggest it’s going to release the new iPhone 5 that soon.
