The Apple iPhone 5 is expected to launch in October and the latest rumours about the device suggest it’ll feature “In-Cell” display technology.

The new technology uses an in-cell layer which combines the LCD and the touch-layer into one component. The main benefit of the new technology is that it makes the overall screen thickness significantly lower.
The Apple iPhone 5 is expected to have a larger 4 inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Without using the new “in-cell” technology the larger screen-size would lead to the device being thicker, but it looks like the new iPhone could now even be thinner than its predecessor.
Rumours about the new iPhone have been circulating online for a number of months and we still don’t have any official information about the device. However, multiple rumours have suggested that the iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch display and it looks like it’ll also support NFC and wireless charging.
We’ll report on any new iPhone 5 rumours or leaks when they appear online, so keep posted !
