First, we had real tickets for planes. Then came paper e-tickets. And now it seems that all you need is your mobile device to get boarded onto a plane. One man reports that he used his iPhone to get a boarding pass. All he had to do was have a PDF version of the ticked on the screen, which was scanned, and that’s it. He got a boarding pass.

But don’t get excited, since it might always work for you. Sill one wonders how long will it take for mobiles to render paper tickets absolute. After all these printouts are such a waste of good trees.
