Is Apple Preparing a Sprint iPhone?

Posted in iPhone News by admin. Published May 18th, 2011

An alleged Apple job listing for a position based near Sprint’s headquarters, has re-ignited old rumors that Sprint will soon offer a CDMA Apple iPhone.

The listing, which has since been removed, was for a “carrier engineer” based in Kansas City, Missouri, less than 20 miles from Sprint’s headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.

The carrier engineer would be “responsible for day-to-day technical interactions with the one or more carriers to track down issues reported by the carrier.”

The job also required technical understanding and experience working on GSM/GPRS, Edge, CDMA and UMTS. Click “Next” at the bottom of this page to see the original listing, courtesy of blog Stop It, AT&T.
