iPhone Apps for Skiers

There are a variety of skiing, ski resort, weather, and snow conditions apps available for your iPhone and iPod Touch. You can download apps that will give you information on gear, ski and snow conditions, open lifts, weather, trail maps, and directions to both U.S. and international ski resorts.

There are also apps, like Ski-O-Meter, which displays both your maximum and average speed, and how much distance you have covered. The SkiTips iPhone Apps offers skiing instruction, enabling skiers to take their skiing lessons on the slopes with them. SkiTips1 contains 30 lessons that teach all the fundamentals of skiing as well as carved turns and unweighting turns.

Auctions in World of Warcraft via iPhone

The company Blizzard, creator of the popular game of the MMORPG - World of Warcraft - announced that holders of iPhones will have access to the auction house game soon. On the official game forums manufacturer conceded that might be received a fee for some functions of the application. One member of the Blizzard wrote that such functionality players expect from a long time, because the developer is trying to meet customer requirements.

He added that both the Armory, as well as the game evolved to the point that players will soon have access to similar functions of the auction, which can be found in WoW.

You can check out information about a mobile version of the application in the Armory, as well as make changes to the calendar, the game via the website. However, for the first time planned to introduce the possibility of interaction with the auction house outside of WoW client.
