iPhone 4S arrives in China next week

iPhone 4S will land in China and 21 other countries on January 13. So, will the iPhone 4S feature Siri work in Mandarin?

Siri, how do you say “profit” in Chinese? One answer Apple’s digital assistant might consider giving is: Start selling the iPhone 4S in China.

And on Jan. 13, Apple will do just that.

The aim of the QWiPs iPhone app is to add audio to an otherwise fairly silent social network — but will it appeal to general users?

Qwips, formerly known as ‘Blurts’, has released an iPhone application in the hope of adding a new dimension of interactivity to social networking.

On social networking sites like Twitter, Google+ or Facebook, the only audio user-generated content is within embedded video or podcasts. The Qwips app is based on changing this premise, and allowing users to add sound to their online interactions.
