Unlock and Jailbreak iPhone 4/4S iOS 5.0.1: Did Siri for cars fail

The php script, which I developed months ago for personal use, allows me to send commands to my car which has a Viper SmartStart module installed.” Commands accepted are Vehicle Arm, Vehicle Disarm, Vehicle Start, Vehicle Stop, Vehicle Pop Trunk, and Vehicle Panic.

The EasyRan untethered jailbreak and Unlock utility for iPhone 4/4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 has been updated to version 0.2, and now includes a Windows release alongside the Mac OS X version and it’s available on www.EasyRa1n.com.

Now you can jailbreak an iPad 2, iPhone 4S on Windows too

A day after the first tools for jailbreaking an iPad 2 or iPhone 4S were released for Mac users, the iPhone Dev Team has updated their utility to work with Windows.

The process is a bit more involved since it relies on a command-line utility that walks you through the process one step at a time for debugging purposes. But if you don’t want to wait for the Windows version of the tools to get a graphical user interface, now you don’t have to.
